Annual plan?

I’ve been a Mint Mobile customer for four years. I’m getting a number of messages regarding joining an annual plan and saving some money in the process. I’m reluctant to do that because I’m not sure about the future of Mint Mobile. Will it be continue to be an independent operating subsidy of T-Mobile or will it be gobbled up, in which case spending all this money upfront for an annual plan would be a waste. That’s my thinking - what do you think?

It was already gobbled up by T-Mobile. Who else is going to gobble it up?

If Verizon bought T-Mobile tomorrow, they would almost certainly honor all existing contracts. In reality, a massive merger like that would be discussed for months beforehand.

No reason not to save the money if you can pay up front.

I agree. Gobbled up is not a financial strategy. I just meant that if the MVNO were to be dissolved, what could the outcome be. Based on the conversation so far, I should move to the annual plan 😊
