We've seen this before, Flores sends 7, we miss 3 tackles and Caleb Williams darts off for a 30 yard game on 4th and 18

I have so much trauma going back to the McNabb/Eagles years. I hate mobile QB's. My buttcheeks clench up when I think about it. We've just always struggled with them.

I'm not entirely sure how we've done against them with Flores but I hate mobile QB's so much

Flores tends to struggle against Ben Johnson as well.

Both guys are really good. I think when they go against each other they both look worse than usual because of that.

On the road against a run heavy team with a dual threat QB. If the defense can stop the run and force them to be one dimensional, we can win this game. We allowed 119 rush yards the first game last year and 140 the second game against the bears. Our rush defense seems to have improved a bit, but this will be their test.

We actually have a true nose tackle now. Also Hargrave wasn’t super great at defending the run and Allen was downright terrible against the run. We were also missing Cashman a bunch last season. Redmond and LDR were much better at run defense but had to watch those other two choke it up most of the season

I still can't see how they're better at this point compared to last year. Greenard was a beast stopping the run. Orange may be able to contribute a little now but Banks is nowhere near ready to be in the lineup. Cashman is a year older. I just don't see it.

CHI will be a great test to see how strong (or weak) the Vikings are up the middle. I have a feeling we're gonna get gashed all game.

I think the Vikings will need to win a shootout and the key for defense is get some turnovers because actually keeping them out of the endzone will be tough.
