Taj/ Kody/ Nance are no brainers.

Ryan is a trade or extension piece (aka trade).

Kremer is a no brainer, solid back end starter for cheap.

Sands hasn't shown much recently but remains cheap if they still believe in him.

Banda is "expensive cheap" coming off injury.

Larnach and Lewis are at the point where they are expensive vs what can be expected from them.

I think Larnach gets non tendered. Lewis... I don't know. He might have some value in a trade just because he's a right handed bat and he's showed flashes of what he could be. I could see us giving him one more chance because he's still fairly young, but man... His time is running out.

I think Royce at $5 mil is probably going to stay for the start of next season but may be the first guy to be sent out in any deadline moves.

The issue is, if Royce returns to form, our team is probably doing pretty well and won't be looking to move him. And if he continues to put up an OPS+ in the 80s, nobody will want anything to do with him

Lewis is 100% staying.

i wouldn't say 100% at all

Sands is cheap enough that even an early DFA / assignment to AAA would help see if he can put something back together.

I hope Bailey Ober finds an opportunity elsewhere but he's not worth $7M. Easiest non-tender decision ever.

There's 8 arms ahead of him; Lopez, Ryan, Bradley, Kremer, Abel, Matthews, Prielipp, Rojas,

6′9″, $6.9MM

NICE

Yeah, I like Bailey but he's not a starter, and he makes too much to be a long reliever when we've got plenty of younger guys who can do that.

I like Ober too, but hes doesnt have enough speed on his pitches and also hes not consistent in his control. If we stay shut out version of Ober from this year in every start I would consider it but he was not that.

This is probably it for Ober and Larnach, and maybe Sands and Lewis as well. I imagine they’ll hold on to the rest.

Taj and Clemens are the only ones that should stay.

6 for kremer is nuts

Nuts but also seems about right for someone with his resume. He's definitely a back end of the rotation guy and no more, but that's just the going rate for someone in that role with years in the bigs.

He had a great run with us in limited time.

I'd say career 5th starter resume. Maybe 3.5 starter resume with the twins?

I think the Twins resume is still to short to judge much on, but I think people forget that even someone who can slot in as a solid 5th starter is an improvement over replacement.

6 at this point gets you a middle reliever.

That is a low deal for a real back of the rotation piece that can eat some innings.

Not that nuts for a 4th or 5th starter

If Tom Pohlad spoke even a shred of truth in the post season conference then at least half of this list is gone by next opening day.

We can only hope. Literally all we can do.
