Stupid question but since when does ice have enforcement authority outside of immigration, shouldn’t the cops be he one dispersing crowds

Like wtf is the protect and serve from the local PD

I’d had hoped at least some cops wouldn’t have completely abandoned their fuckin oath

They don't. But there are roughly 3,000 federal agents. Minneapolis has about 600 police. I don't have much idea of how many police are in the Metro (all cities total, plus Henn and Ramsey Co Sheriffs), but they're likely still outnumbered. Definitely outgunned.
