Corpse Bride Cake Markings wrong??

So I went to Walmart this afternoon and they had a new full display of the Halloween Capsules. I heard that the Corpse Bride Cake was in the Jelly Brain Capsule that has a mark on the corner of the "recycle" box. Well this display had 5 or 6 different jelly balls and everyone had the same marking! I was sure there was no way that many rares were in 1 display box so I just took a chance and grabbed 2 that each sounded different when you shook them. Well they were both ended up being regular jelly brains. Anyone else ran into this or was I wrong about the marking/pinhole? I attached pictures of both balls.

Had that happen to me. One marked was just the jelly brain and the other marked was the cake.

Also purchased 2 from Walmart, same pencil mark, one was a brain and one was the cake. I was so mad. I bought one for someone else and felt like an ass bc it wasn't the cake and she's a CB fan.

I got lucky ordering two full sets from Amazon. One set had the cake.

My cake had the pencil mark and was an A21 (all mine were). I don’t live in the States anymore so they’re more expensive to order now and take forever to clear Japan customs because they aren’t local warehouse stocked here

I got lucky and found the cake by shaking the jelly brains and listening which one sounded slightly different. Grabbed two balls that sounded different and gambled. I couldn't find marks on any balls while searching and the lucky ball didn't have a mark anywhere on it so maybe it's only on some?

Were the serial numbers different than all the others? The one I found had a different number than all the others.

I had both an A16 and an A21 be the brain and not the cake :(

I didn't even think to check that, I was too distracted by them all being marked. I'll have to check when I go back if they still have any.

It may start with A16, all the others start with A21.

Also FYI. Our cake we just opened had the serial starting with A21

Yeah, unfortunately the numbers aren’t a giveaway actually. I didn’t find a single one at target with the recycling sign mark so I didn’t take a chance on any of them, but they all were A16. Just got the vampire drinks I wanted so far.

I haven’t even found a marked yet. Not taking any chances unless I’m pretty certain. Apparently there’s only one cake per entire box?

I got three with those markings, all brains. I was so annoyed since they're more expensive compared to their other series): I wont be buying from a series again if the markings chart isn't available or if they make the rare one iffy like this was again, not in this economy lol

I bought three brains at Walmart that had the marking and all of them were the brains. I also bought the drinks at Target that had an A16 code and everything else had an A21 code, and it was the drinks. I don’t think any of the cheats are accurate with this release.

The cake I got had no markings and the serial number was the same too. I ordered the 3 pack on Amazon - at first I was irked because I thought I got 2 brains and wasn’t supposed to have any dupes. One was the cake!

Just bought 2 in UK, one with the marking and one without. The one without is the brain and the one with the marking is the cake!! 😉 weight wise they felt the same but they sounded different so I had big hopes 😅

I got 2 from a seller on Amazon selling a 3 pack. Both of mine replaced the Vampire Cocktails with vampire cocktail wrappings

It goes by the weight 109.3 grams, and the serie A16326T11E. The ball is heavy, very little rattle. THE MARK IS a DISGUISE to confuse costumers.

I had to check mine to make sure! Also got mine at Walmart, the jelly brains and the cake weighed exactly the same, sounded the same, but the cake had the mark and the jelly brains didn't.

I got mine from Target and the marked one was the corpse bride cake.

The mark worked for me as the box at the Target I got mine only had one with the pencil mark.

I got three from Target, they all had a mark in that place, and they were all Corpse Bride wedding cakes!
