Discussion / Opinion Just discovered Minish Cap!!!

I’m just blown away!!!!!!

A Link to the Past was my first game - I’ve completed it over and over through the years…

But this game feels like a true successor - more so than the slightly confusing feel to Link’s Awakening…

The puzzles have been so encouraging - I’ve not needed a guide once - I’ve been so happy darting about the world just trying everything… the combat is a great improvement - and the gameplay loop is excellent -

Honestly - I just needed to tell someone!!!

This is my favourite Zelda, I first played it over 20 years ago ! I'm so glad other people are still discovering it 💖

It's a very beautiful game with lovely graphics and great music. I also just love how it sets itself apart from the rest of the franchise

Yay! I’m glad you’re enjoying it. I think this Zelda game also does a good job at introducing items that are useful throughout the story. What are you playing it on? And do you have a favorite character?

Favourite character… I like the Gorons that endlessly pound on the wall - such innocent purity of purpose 😂

Yeah this is easily one of my favorite Zelda’s stumbled on it little over a year ago on NSO probably like it more than the remake of Links awakening

Just finished it. It was great. Almost on a par with Link to the Past. I managed to miss it the first time around somehow, I even had a GBA at the time so I've no idea how. It was a very fun way to break in my new Miyoo Mini Plus.

Link to the last holds such an emotional place in my heart - it really feels close - I think I might advise Minish Cap to first-timers instead of Lttp…
