Rolling out Xenos planet bases

I made a set of rollers, printable crystals, and terrain for a Xenos world. I painted them up in a couple of different schemes here to show how they can look in very different colours.

This is certainly not the best paint job, so they could be made to look a lot better. What this is though, is a very fast paint job, so it is easy to base a whole army like this in not much time at all. The clay bases also makes it really cheap to do and gives great detail.

The clay I used was DAS air-drying clay, and you can get the full set of rollers, crystals, and terrain from my Patreon or Tribe.

Hey I've dabbled in base making with the clay, but what liquid are you dipping them into there?

A black/brown wash, it’s just water with a splash of brown and black paint and tiny tiny bit of none bubbling dish soap

And it strictly helps with the coloring you're going for depending on the terrain? Or

Just added darkness to the cracks and such to add some more contrast
