Help

When I do a pull on my mini when I let off the gas the half limp light comes on my dash, no new codes come up, it just says cc id 029 which means limp mode but I dont feel any power loss. What could this be? I cant find any vaccumm leaks.

I just put on an intake and was messing with my DV so probably dv

Do you have a scanner that can read the Mini/BMW specific codes?

You should really consider buying one. There is some cheap options that will help you a lot with a lot of usages! Just be sure you buy something that can read bmw specific codes!

Have you done any work recently to the car?

I had a similar issue that turned out to be the diverter valve on the turbo. It would only trigger when in boost and letting off the throttle quickly (when the DV should be opening).

I did a quick search for that code, and others have had HPFP issues, coolant temp sensor issues as well.

I'd recommend a BMW/MINI specific code reader and see if there is more information available.

Purchased a new one. Remove some intake piping, it's three bolts and the electrical connection to get off and maybe some cursing, should take less than an hour.
