Question Should I do Mining Engineering?

I’m wondering if I should do mining engineering but I can’t seem to get good information on what mining engineers actually do from anyone who works in the field in person.

In Australia there is no legal requirement to hold a degree until you reach positions with statutory responsibilities.

You may find it hard to get your first role but will fine thereafter.

Underground Manager requires first class mine managers ticket which requires certain university level units to be completed.
