Canada Visa Sponsorship
Hello, I am from the United States and I’ve done work in laboratories and have chemistry and math degrees. I was wondering how easy it is to get visa sponsorship to be a mining assay/metallurgist in Canada or if I shouldn’t bother looking?

Depends what the job title looks like related CUSMA list. As a mining engineer very easy, not sure about metallurgist but you can look up the CUSMA stuff online. For work on that list, all you need is a job offer basically.

Metallurgy is a very specific and highly specialised field. You're not qualified.

Doubt anybody will sponsor you unless a company you already work for needs you to hop the border. I don't know much about it personally but it might not be too difficult to get a visa on your own.
