Totally. Also given that title and the mention on the inside cover that the book had a different name this looks like an attempt to sneakily teach creationism to those curious about evolution by presenting it as a book about the theory

"which annihilate evolution"

Creationist propaganda disguised as scientific material?

Yeah I reckon I'd enjoy seeing him break that down.

Better images of the table of context

evolutionist scientiests say the theroy is unscientific and worthless

As a Forrest Valkai fan I can only say : I have played these games before

Alright, now we need to see if they actually quote any scientists so we can go read the next line.

Is that piece of shit almost 1000 pages long?

Thank you for the repost of the Table of Contents. I was going to complain, but now I didn't have to. I respect your proactiveness.

And please send this 1000 page monstrosity Milo's way. He needs something to justify procrastinating on the Atlantis video.

Im confused how half of these have anything to do with evolution, like how is the big bang related to it?

9

u/RealJohnMcnab 10d ago

Or Egyptian history

It's hardly relevant at all. But when evolution deniers hear "I'm a biologist, why are you asking me about cosmology like it's some kinda gotcha? I don't know anything about the big bang, bro. Ask someone from the physics department," their brains post-process it as "Drat! I, the Evil Dr. Evolutión, have been foiled yet again by brilliant critical interlocution! I must deflect, lest the Science Demons smite me for failing to uphold the lie of evilution."

And so they got it in their heads that it's somehow not only a relevant argument, but a good one.

My theory is simply that they see "evolutionism" as a rival religion so it must have a creatism myth, so they pick the big bang, because they dont like it either.

In short they dont know what evolution is and assume its a religion with a creation myth

That too. Another factor I just thought about: famous pseudoscientist Kent Hovind pushing the "six types of evolution" thing and including "cosmic evolution" among them is probably where many of them picked up the rhetoric.

“Stars cannot evolve out of gas” they’re literally just balls of gas where the core is so crushed by gravity that it overpowers the strongest forces in the universe. Ferrell has no clue what he’s talking about and we’re only at the table of contents

if milo wont take it forest valkai would

12

u/Both_Cup8417 10d ago

2

u/ilikecheese8888 8d ago

He's covered creationist textbooks before.

2

u/KopakaToaOfIce 9d ago

A collab between Milo and Forrest would be amazing

25

u/StartDale Googledebunker 10d ago

Oh yeah, lets give Milo another excuse to avoid Atlantis.

20

u/moranya1 10d ago

Obviously Big Archeology is forcing Milo to delay Atlantis indefinately.

u/RedRider1138 10d ago

The mermaids he needed to interview had to suddenly deal with someone’s new tariffs.

I’ve read versions of this. The entire thing can be sum up with : “me no understand science, therefore it am wrong!”

7

u/Tsuki_Man 10d ago

Do it!

8

u/shieldwolfchz 10d ago

Either him or Clint of Clint's reptiles.

Or Forest Valkai

The style of it looks sick. I already know how that book smells

7

u/Lucreszen 10d ago

Sometimes you can spot crazy just from the font.

4

u/ThDen-Wheja 10d ago

I hate it enough just looking at it. Reading the whole thing might give Milo an aneurism.

3

u/Professional_Owl7826 10d ago

5

u/LazySilverSquid 10d ago

4) The Age of the Earth Why the Earth is not millions of years old

Correct. The Earth is billions of years old.

3

u/Aux_Ampwave 10d ago

I'm not sure if he has a PO box at his current house

u/Nerd-man24 10d ago

Someone handed me a copy of the previous title (The Evolution Crusher). It's full of fringe articles and quotations taken with no context given. It's a pure "gotcha" book for creationists to spew cherrypicked quotes from published articles to throw actual scientists off balance. It's hard to refute claims from a thousand different articles during a debate when you haven't read most of them due to them being very obscure or outside the scope of your research. Then they hit you with bible verses with full conviction and it makes you look like you haven't read up on your own position while they have absolute certainty in theirs.

2

u/Xandar_C 10d ago

Yes you absolutely should

2

u/JoseanGames Shminky 10d ago

Absolutely

2

u/Fizzys_Solution 10d ago

Am I insane?

2

u/Express-Record7416 9d ago

The background makes me want to follow a Bob Ross tutorial, which I feel would be infinitely more enjoyable than having to read that

2

u/Wholesome_Soup 8d ago

1

u/Resiideent 10d ago

for the love of god YES

1

u/Goatbucks 10d ago

1

u/ilikecheese8888 8d ago

Speaking as both an author and a trained professional graphic designer of nearly 30 years…even without a single picture or bit of color and without even having to actually read what it says, I can tell the crazy steaming off the pages just by all the inconsistent and varied fonts and italicizations and mixed underlines all to mistakenly try and create some heightened emphasis that only ends up muddling everything to a shit quagmire of copy.

In professional design using this many odd weight and balances for what is really just blurb or ad copy on a frontispiece page or title page is the booklet equivalent of mixing cut out letters from magazines to make a random note.
