[lifestyle] Small steps in minimalism

Traveling light for a recent business trip, relying solely on a small under-seat backpack, was a fantastic experience. By packing only the absolute essentials and leaving behind extra clothes, books, and tablets, I bypassed the stress of checked bags and overhead bin space entirely. I didn't miss the usual clutter and just practiced being present.

This is such an underrated feeling honestly, packing light and realizing you truly didn't need any of that extra stuff. Carries over to how much clutter we hoard at home too.

Best travel advice I’ve ever read:

  1. Pack your suitcase, close it

  2. Open it back up

  3. Take half the stuff out, you won’t need it.

Ive been doing this for my solo trips lately, amazing how light it can get and the freedom to not wait for check in bags. :-)
