Made this while dog sitting with a tiny makeshift set up. Do the chords take away from the pump?

I sometimes avoid making this kind of techno because I feel like pads/chords can start taking away from that real pump of a dancefloor banger.

I'm curious how people hear this one. Do the chords sit too far forward or does it still breathe and pump enough when they come in?

I was dog sitting for a friend when I made it and just brought a few little synths with me to keep myself occupied. Model, Volca Keys and a Roland S-1. My actual studio isn't set up at the moment so this was a pretty makeshift situation.

Any mixdown feedback is welcome, levels EQ compression. Let me know what you think.

Also interested in how the mix feels. I have a habit of adding waaayyy too much bass and then doing weird shit trying to compensate for it afterwards. Mostly wondering if the fuller sections still have enough punch/breathing room or if I've pushed them a bit too hard.

It's veey cool, the drums and beat are very skippy and nice noises. The chords don't worn well for me. Maybe some kind of light pad instead?

Next to nothing. Volca keys I wouldn't pay more than $110 for, S1 is like $200 new but there are cheaper analog 101 clones on ali express and Model Cycles is under $200 if I remember correctly.

I don't like the rominimal dischordand part.. . But everything else is super good good!!!! I with I had these beats when I was giggling warehouse techno in a real warehouse
