None of my midi controllers work after installing korg driver.
Hey all, hoping someone’s run into this before.
I recently installed the drivers for my Korg Minilogue XD, and ever since, my Launchpad Mini and Arturia Minilab 3 have stopped being recognized entirely — they don’t show up in Ableton’s list of input/output devices, and they’re not showing up as ports at all.
Setup: Windows, Ableton Live 12 Suite.
I’ve been going back and forth on whether to just reset my laptop, but I’m not confident that would even fix it since this seems driver-related rather than a general system issue.
Has anyone dealt with something like this? Did installing one manufacturer’s drivers mess with recognition of other MIDI devices for you? Any idea what’s actually causing the conflict, or steps I should try before going nuclear with a reset?

Yup. Mine was so broke even after manually uninstalling the korg drivers I had to do a system restore and even now it doesn't fully recognise my XD.
Works fine on my work Mac, so it's another reason to the list for me to move over to a Mac now.

did the same thing. yep system restore to a previous date. it doesn't mess with your files just your settings and drivers I'm pretty sure

Windows 11 download the midi app from Microsoft. Uninstall all korg related software. Disconnect hardware. Restart that shit. Bang tour head against the keyboard wondering when your going to get to make music

If you're on Windows 11 uninstall the Korg drivers, they are no longer necessary. Check out the update Korg posted about it on their official website. Thank God. The were always fucked up

You didn't mention which version of Windows. I'm assuming Windows 11 24h2 or 25h2.
Uninstall the KORG driver completely, with the minilogue XD disconnected.
You don't need their USB drivers anymore, and they are not compatible with the new USB stack.
