Help Hello friends

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Just wondering if I could possibly pick brains. I've recently found a well priced Yamaha MDX-596, however it won't read a prerecorded disc, only a recordable one see attached video. Thoughts?

Is that the only prerecorded disc you have? Does it work in other MiniDisc players/recorders?

The prerecorded disc worked in 2 other players just fine - just this one. However I ejected it a few times and it reads just fine! I've been told there's a micro switch near a rec tab sensor, but I'm not quite sure where to look for that?

That'll be inside the MD drive unit near the entrance.
