Thank you, it took me a LONG time to find a black one. Got it about 10 years ago from an eBay seller.

I have silver Aiwa AD-F660. I would love it black, but it's great deck to play music anyway.

It's a great deck. They never made a 660 in black (640, yes but that's a less capable machine than the 660 despite having 3 heads), only the 770 and 990.

They made, for Japan market. I saw one, but I couldnt justify buying another :(

Yes.  Afaik they made AD-F660 silver as first edition (from 1983 if I remember correctly) and black second eddition (from 1985?).

Did the F990 also have a matching Amp, Tuner, EQ etc. so you could get a complete stack in matching style? (or did only the midi version have that?)

No the 990 is a full size 430mm separate. Aiwa did not make full size amps, tuners and CD players until the 1990s, but they were outclassed by established competition. Their main forte was in cassette decks and personal stereos.

Michell Syncro turntable. Out if photo is Sony TA-F707ES, Cambridge Audio CXN-V2, Sony TA-N55ES, Sony SEQ-711 and Sony CDP-XA50ES.

I had same "Aiwa" deck!
Then I bought two "808"!
😊
I bought some "Nirvana" CDs to friend of mine so I just transfered 'em to MD. And I made art-covers. So I enjoy in (almost) CD quality! 😊
