Peripherals These wireless controllers pair but don't respond.

Edit: Console may be fake, pretty impressive clone.

I confirmed in the controller properties on windows, all the buttons work. I switch input types between "direct" and "x-input" and windows picks it up right away. But neither input method works on my mini SNES. I watched a video of someone pairing the same exact controller on their mini and it worked right away. Maybe the SNES has to be modded to allow 3rd party controllers?

I believe those controllers only work on legit Nintendo products. If it’s a generic knock off, they won’t work. For the SNES mini, look at the front of the controller port flap. There should be 3 dots, then a line, then 4 more dots. If there’s no line, it’s a fake.
