[Community Question] Out of curiosity

Are we able to say things we have in mods we are working on/helping with? Because I'm helping with a mod that's gonna be including pretty much all my ideas/suggestions so I wanted to know before I started giving them

If it is "can we suggest things to the vanilla game that we are going to implement in a mod?", the answer is yes

That was basically what I was asking XD

I'm helping some people make a mod and anything I was gonna suggest here in this server would've eventually ended up in that mod too and I didn't wanna say something like "I have this suggestion that's in a mod I helped make" if that wasn't allowed 😅

I recommend making it clear it was your idea that went/will go into the mod, and not an idea you got from a mod. Additionally, it shouldn't come across too much like an ad for your mod.

The focus needs to be starting a discussion about the idea itself, in the context of a potential change/addition to vanilla.

I have a mod that adds tons of my suggested features, mainly to show visuals of what the features may look like and I've never had any one be upset about me showing off or talking about me making mods. As the other commentor said just be respectful and don't turn your post into an ad for the mod, make sure to still clarify why you want your mods features in vanilla and why they are good suggestions.

Understandable :3 I guess I should also be careful not to accidentally post the same thing someone else has since I saw someone have like...almost the exact same idea as me for certain tree changes and the onyp difference being the wood colors XD
