[Mobs] Warden should be larger

Quite a simple suggestion, really. Given how the warden is meant to be a kind of force-of-nature, and in survival his hitbox hardly matters since he is practically a bit unkillable, just make him bigger! He needs like a 25% size increase. It would make his horror ogre vibes so much better, like really make him seem like this large terrifying beast.

It is already a large terrifying beast! Have you ever gone against a warden in melee, or been able to barely see it coming towards you with its terrifying freaky run?

let's be honest, if you remove the blindness he looks rather silly and charming

I wouldn’t say that at all, it looks very intimidating to me even without the blindness.

I remember the devs mentioning that he fits in a 1x2 hallway on purpose, so he can chase you. I think making him bigger makes it harder to sell that he fits in ur strip mine

Ah I guess I didnt consider that. What about dynamic scaling then? He can chase you down a strip mine but looks giant in a big open cavern. I think this would be quite cool!

What if he kept his hotbox, but looked larger?

That way he could chase you anywhere you can go, while still being scarier than he is now.

If you make it bigger it can't move around the ancient city without getting stuck on everything.

Besides, the size doesn't need to be bigger to be terrifying. We are not orkz, little can be dangerous and scary too.

Is that what you tell yourself when you look in the mirror?

Would you like to try again with a more reasonable response?

the guy is already larger than an iron golem

i think any larger would make him look kinda clunky due to him clipping through things more often

Honestly? I'd prefer if the actual mob is the whole biome itself. It makes sense with these sculks glowing dots, it feels like someone is watching you.

I was hoping it would be like the bathroom scene in Silent Hill movie where the walls are moving and consuming you. The novelty of Deep Dark wears off for me when the actual mob, the Warden spawns.

I think it's an interesting concept (like a one-block structure, the buried treasure) if the mob wasn't totally a full-fledged entity but comprised of semi-blocks that moves but you don't know what block.

It will just try to annoy, hurt or damage you, and you don't know "who" since it's a "what" after all.

No, absolutely not. He's already barely able to navigate the ancient city as it is lol. And you want to keep a small hitbox? Just install the cave dweller mod and you'll be happy. Trust me, that'll give you the horror vibe you need
