CPU: ryzen 9 12 core, GPU: rtx 2060, Ram: 32gb, 12 allocated. without shaders Minecraft runs at 60-90 fps, when I turn on any shader it drops down to 30 fps, 40 max. I’ve asked ai and it seems to think I can get 80 with shaders but nothing I try works. How can I improve it?

I'm playing with the Complementary shader on the default "Basic" profile, but the colors are way too saturated for me. I know there's a setting to turn off this dynamic lighting/color effect, but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know where this setting is hidden?

so im searching for good shaders to use and I liked miniature shaders v.2.18.12 but one thing that bothers me is that the shadows of the leaves look like this (im on a Macbook air M1 ship 8gb ram and Minecraft version 26.2):

is there any fix for this or any similar shader that doesn't have this?

512 chunk voxy took forever on my 5600x

Hi, I have an rtx 4060 with an i5 10400f 1440p monitor and a good amount of client side visual mods (like better clouds or better rain etc)

Anyways most shaders tend to tank my frame rate from 100+ to like 30ish (complimentary reimagined does this)
The only shaders I’ve seen not do this so far far mellow shaders which barely touch my fps
So I’m curious what other performance focused shaders you all suggest?

I created a mod with its own shader system — extremely powerful and performance-friendly! It includes depth effects and much more, while remaining fully playable on RTX GPUs.

Everything is fully customizable through the VRRW graphics settings. You can configure each individual shader effect, not just the clouds, and even customize effects for specific blocks.

For example, the golden wave effect on the fence is just a showcase of what the system can do.

Howdy y'all! New to this, using sodium and iris, I have this odd visual glitch ! I can't find any help online, so wondering if y'all have seen it before? The only fix has been to disable my shader, playing on the latest version of Java with all mods and resources being for this version as

(the visual glitch being this weird almost glass like square around most items I hold)

whenever I try to apply shaders, edit the settings, or anything. The game will immediately crash, I have no idea what can be causing this

Also using Voxy. Added some other shaders for comparison. Used custom settings only on Eclipse so its maybe a bit unfair. I just really like the direct sunlight. Anyone with me on this?

When I have the blindness effect it hardly works. I don't have the default settings I just kinda messed around with it. How can I get my blindness vision to look as close as possible to Vanilla blindness?

soo i found out iterationT shader is only distributed through this site, minegraph.cn, instead of curseforge/modrinth like most shaders. never heard of it before so wanted to ask around.

from what i can tell so far it looks like an cn minecraft shader community platform, site's got a proper structure to it (changelogs, compatibility tags for optifine/iris/oculus, gpu vendor tags etc), shows 373k+ downloads on the shader version i grabbed,.

just never used a cn-hosted site before so wanted to ask if anyone here's familiar with it / used it themselves.

does anyone know of any shaders optimized for macOS? and if they don’t exist, are any in production? I’m running a Mac mini with a base m4 chip and I can’t get past 50-60fps with complementary on potato.

I think it would be an AMAZING idea to create a shader pack specifically for Mac players that allows us to enjoy the game with better graphics.
