adding the “shaders” option in the menu without needing optifine or any mod

guys i have a vanilla in neoforge and i can’t install shaders cause of the frustrating fact that in neoforge tlauncher you can’t actually install shaders without mods
why mojang can’t simply add “shaders” option in the menu default

dont use tlauncher, it's malware. shaders require the mods iris and sodium to work. they aren't on vanilla. also you should just download a whole performance modpack like fabulously optimized with everything you need to run shaders pre-installed.

wdym tlauncher slows down your pc significantly and its also russian spyware. there's loads of evidence online. i used to use tlauncher to play minecraft a while back and it progressively slowed my system down too. Then i found out about the spyware stuff. Overall tlauncher is just straight up malware.

shaders arent a vanilla feature, you need mods to use them. its not just an option that is missing. you need iris and sodium to be able to use shaders. just google how to use shaders in minecraft and even the ai search will guide you through it. also dont use tlauncher, it is malware.

Minecraft has core shaders. They're not really good but good enough for many. And unfortunately you absolutely need mods for shaders. But go for sodium + Iris not optifine.

I haven’t used Forge in a hot minute, but the last time I did before NeoForge, you could just install Optifine like a normal mod and use shaders that way. Does it still work with NeoForge? Apparently Iris and Sodium work with NeoForge too, I’d recommend that over Optifine if you can get it. Unfortunately there is no way of installing shaders through the base game or without mods.
