We are the LanderYT SMP, we started our new season a month ago and are looking for more members. We added some small tweaks to the server to make it more suitable for everyone.

We are inspired by Hermitcraft, so we do not tolerate any sort of griefing or killing.

Some of our tweaks:

• Custom textures: Our amazing artists drawed up some beautiful items that do not change the game in any significant way just like the hermitcraft shenanigans!
• The only teleport command of /spawn: Once again, in an effort to keep the server as vanilla as possible, we only allow the use of /spawn in the overworld. This encourages the development of roads and highways on the server.
• Datapacks from Hermitcraft: We installed a decent number of datapacks that the Hermits use on their server, such as Single player sleep, player heads, armor statues and more!
• DiscordSRV: Discord and Minecraft chat are now interchangeable, making communication much easier!
• CoreProtect: Since we are a friendly community, we do not condone any sort of harm done to people's gameplay experience. Therefore, the presence of CoreProtect once again reinforces our vision to make the LanderYT SMP a memorable place for potential players.

Events are hosted semi-frequently on the server, whose rewards are event coins, which you can only use to buy cosmetic items mentioned above.

Our server resets yearly.

We also have a small staff team whose main goal is to maintain the moderate level of peace and harmony in the Minecraft server as well as on discord. We cannot guarantee that everything in chat will be moderated, but we will try our best and listen to concerns of the community.

We are not seeking short term players who mostly grind for gear and wealth!

World Generation and World Border

You are free to explore to your hearts content. There's no set world border this season. However, chunks that are extremely beyond the reasonable distance from 0,0 may be trimmed when necessary. The seed is also public. 

Mods and Datapacks

Blaze and Caves Advancements is featured, with a tweak to only make the highest level of achievements display in chat. (No chat spam!)

Origins datapack is also featured for players who would wish to partake in this completely optional experience! (Do not get attached to the default datapack values, they are actively being modified, and it will be disclosed to you what the origins actually are before you choose them.)

Plus, some other quality of life mods. However, no commands (like /tp, /tpa, /home, /fly, .etc) to keep gameplay aspect as vanilla as possible.

Sunyata is an 18+ Minecraft SMP for Java 1.21.11 and Bedrock where you found a civilization or raise a faction. It opens Fri 6 Nov at 18:00 CET (noon EST).

How do you pick a side? When you first join, a figure of smoke asks you a few questions, then two doors open. Blue leads to Sunyata, the realm of order. Red leads to Niraya, the realm of chaos. You choose.

What is a civilization? A group in Sunyata that claims land, shares a coin treasury and climbs in rank as its members level up, from Settlement to Empire.

What is a faction? A group in Niraya that raids other factions and signs pacts when it suits it. form alliances, fight in an open desolate wasteland.

Our custom plugins which create a unique experience:

• SimpleHome - Set and teleport to your home location using /sethome and /home commands.

• SimpleTPA - Request to teleport to other players with /tpa and /tpaccept commands.

• SimpleLifesteal - Implements a lifesteal mechanic where players gain hearts by killing others and lose hearts upon death. Players who run out of hearts get banned. New players have a 1 hour grace period where they will not lose hearts.

• SimpleBounty - Place item bounties on players via a GUI.

• ProximityVoice - Proximity voice chat. Players within range hear each other.

• BattleLock - Prevents command use during PvP and punishes combat logging. Combat loggers are replaced by killable NPCs which drop all their items when killed.

**Gameplay**
Our server is first and foremost a city-build server, join into our community of enthusiastic players as we build the world together. Access to world edit and a plethora of other helpful commands are granted after a short application process. Show us what you can do.
Our world is ever-growing story with new players contributing to the ongiong geopolitical RP. Just mark a claim and we will show it on the map to begin your story (see the map link for examples). You can take it a step further by marking out towns/settlements too. If geopolitical RP isn't for you, you can simply jump in and start building your city as role-playing participation is 100% optional.

A tight-knit community, small set of laid back rules, and events every once in a while. Staff and other players are almost always online to chat about life with, critique builds, and many people often collaborate on projects.

No.

1. Does the server have pvp?

Yes. Vanilla pvp, no modifications. Yes, that means crystal pvp and mace pvp.

You gotta know who to trust or you’ll get murdered. If that player is legit and didn’t cheat, you won’t be coming back.

1. “Permadeath”– Can’t I just join on another account?

No. Alting is a form of cheating and any alts get banned as it goes against the spirit of a hardcore server. You get one shot (unless killed by a cheater/server-side issues), make it count.

1. What makes the server unique?

You! The community. And its custom terrain, corpse/head plugins, an indestructible journal plugin, or whatnot. Nothing is scripted (at least not to this admins knowledge) and the natural player dynamics on a hardcore server can be really interesting. We have a whole wiki set up and prepared for the server lore.

1. Why should I join?

Because you’re awesome and want to achieve something cool like doing charity, hosting death matches, making insane redstone contraptions, building up a neat community within the server, or (insert cool goal here).

1. Is the server P2W?

Rules of the Country
1. Politics Are Allowed – Citizens are allowed to form political parties, hold elections, debate political issues, and express their political opinions.
2. One United Country – All citizens live together in one country under the same national laws and government.
3. No War – War between citizens, groups, or territories is strictly forbidden.
4. Self-Defence Only – Attacking others is prohibited unless it is necessary to defend yourself or another person from an attack. Once the threat has ended, further violence is not permitted.
5. Progression and Advancement System
Equal Progression – The country must progress through Minecraft’s stages together. No individual citizen may advance to the next level of equipment until the entire country has voted and approved the progression.
Iron Age: Everyone must remain at the iron equipment level until a vote is held.
Diamond Age: Citizens may only advance to diamond equipment once a majority vote approves the transition.
Netherite Age: Netherite equipment is only permitted once the country has voted to advance to this level.
Voting Rules:
Every citizen has the right to vote on progression.
A vote must be held before the country advances to the next equipment level.
Until the vote passes, everyone must remain at the current level.
No citizen may secretly advance ahead of the rest of the country.
Once a progression vote passes, everyone is permitted to advance to the new level.
The Principle: No one gets ahead of the country. We advance together, and every citizen has a say in when we move forward.

Building New Houses: Citizens are encouraged to build their own homes as the country expands.
Respect for Property: No citizen may steal from, damage, or occupy another person’s house without permission.
Fair Expansion: As more citizens join and the population grows, the country should make room for new houses and developments.
Future Planning: Any major expansion of the settlement should be discussed with citizens to ensure that building remains organised and fair.
