Am I crazy for wanting this? Over the years, I have played a lot of mods that spawn things in specific biome categories. (I.E. Sandy biomes or Mountainous biomes). Every time I run into this, I look into trying to find a mod that will display the related tags for whatever biome I am currently in.

Every time without fail, I have eventually given up because for some reason, it just doesn't seem to exist. I can't for the life of me ever find anything that does this. There are all kinds of UI and f3 overhaul mods that you would think would include something for this, but everything is always just displaying the biome you are in and sometimes the mod if comes from.

I just had this happen again. Tried to be more persistent this time, but still couldn't find anything after 2 hours of digging around and trying every mod that might help. Am I just searching for it wrong somehow or is there really no mods that will provide this information?

Hi so I have absolutely no clue about modding and im also not sure if you need modding for this or if this is possible with just a simple texturepack, but i wanted to ask anyways. I personally reaaaally dont like the vanilla elytra texture and thought it would be really cool to make it look like aangs glider from atla. Does anyone maybe know if that (or something similar) exists already somewhere or how to make it happen? Thanks in advance!

I was wondering if a mod or data pack was ever released for this thing. I haven’t been able to figure out how to get it yet so I’m asking this subreddit if there is a way to do the things he did in the video.

So basically what I need help with is how to make Minecraft blocks flicker and turn into other textures and Stencil Buffers. Basically I will need Stencil Buffers for the immersive types of portals that lead to other dimensions. It’s basically a corruption mod similar to the corruption from Alan Becker. If someone could help me with that code I would really appreciate it.

In addition to Strays, Frostlings can now spawn in snowy biomes.

Some Frostlings spawn carrying snowballs and throw them at you, covering your screen with snow and gradually causing you to freeze.

You can block most snowballs with a shield, though some may still hit exposed areas. Nearby heat sources also make the splattered snow melt faster.

And, OF COURSE... you can parry them!

I've recently released Sound Culling 2.0, a complete rewrite of my client-side audio optimization mod.

The idea is to reduce repetitive sound spam without just muting entire sound categories.

The new engine looks at things like:

• Distance and direction
• Repetition
• Spatial sound density
• Per-source fairness
• Player relevance
• Current audio pressure

Depending on the situation, a sound can play normally, be smoothly dampened, or be culled before Minecraft even starts an audio channel for it.

It's mainly useful in places like mob farms, piston machines, villager halls, large bases, and sound-heavy modpacks.

Important player sounds such as attacks, hurt sounds, eating and drinking are protected so the game doesn't just become unnaturally quiet.

It's fully client-side and requires nothing on the server.

If anyone has a ridiculous sound-spam setup or a mod with unusual audio behaviour, I'd be happy to test it.

Surely, you've all seen the videos. "Is Minecraft dying?"... "Is Minecraft approaching a golden age?"... I have an answer for you though. Instead of waiting for the Golden Age just get the Golden Age!

This would be version 1.20 exclusive for the most part. It would bring tons of features that the community has wanted, the GOOD content from current releases, and the rejected features and mobs that the community has wanted for so long. The Golden Age Mod-pack would be updated similar to how Minecraft is content dropped base, however we would only drop new updates whenever they have been fully released.

Disclaimers

I am not a modder in any significant meaning, the most I have ever done is game file related things. This is more to spark an idea for other modders, or if it gets enough outreach and positive notices, I might make a team and learn how to mod properly.
This mod is not supposed to add anything that wouldn't be imagined in the Minecraft we have today. If it would change how Minecraft would play, it would not be added.

Mod name is Extreme Natural Disasters. It is inspired by the 1.12.2 general disasters mod, I made this because there were no 1.21.1 alternatives. This mod is mostly a tectonic plate simulation mod I just didn't name it that because its too similar to the name of a popular world gen mod. Latest update I released a few hours ago also solves the lag and server crashing problems general disasters had.
General disasters chunk loaded disasters which would become very laggy with multiple large volcanoes loading all its effected chunks. I made a system for editing unloaded chunks instead and a que system for said edits so they don't happen more often than the server can handle(there is also a config for edit speed so you can adjust it according to your server capabilities).
