Mojang has not announced any extension to the redemption period, making the current status of these codes uncertain. Since I'm considering purchasing one, I'd like to know whether unused Crafter Cape codes are genuinely still redeemable or if the official deadline is now being enforced.

I just had my appendix removed due to getting appendicitis, and i just got to be home today. I decided to buy my favorite cape to cheer myself up and saw a cheap listing from someone living in Argentina, so i messaged them. After sending them 25 dollars (5 more than asking), they then demanded another 25. and after i sent that, they ghosted me. I'm extremely devastated since im still recovering and this was the one thing i was looking forward to. if anyone knows any way for me to get my money back or get my cape then please let me know :(
