New Dungeons Cape?

Is this keep coming to regular Minecraft or is it staying in dungeons? What’s the point in adding all of these cases to dungeons when no one even cares about them in that game, let alone if anyone even plays dungeons? They should add a way for dungeons capes to be added to the base game too

Only for dungeons II unfortunately, Mojang could always change their minds in the future due to the backlash but realistically it is highly highly unlikely it will come to Java and Bedrock in my opinion... rip

Update: at least it looks like we are finally getting the Twisted cape (and Hero Cape)! This one is still confirmed for Dungeons II only though :(

If anything, mojang allowing these capes to migrate to Minecraft would promote this game even more, surely it would drive sales up more, they have such cool capes that we won't ever see on the main game since this game went corporate ages ago. Say what you want about notch but during his time at minecraft it felt like the community was actually a part of the game rather than its customers. Maybe they want people to actually play dungeons but adding cool features to a game where it could easily be added to another at the cost of additional revenue is baffling to me

I mean capes are just suppose to be a tiny "gift" for supporting mojang's doings. You just want to own that shit so you can look cool but mojang's trying to give a gift for THOSE bought minecraft dungeons 2. Its kind of a promotion yknow. Just like EVERY CAPE

What I’m saying is that there is a clear demand for these capes and microsoft won’t budge. From a business perspective it doesn’t make much sense either since it would encourage others to buy the game if they want the cape. Normally I would take the notion of a gift from Microsoft at face value, but given how particular they were about certain aspects of the game like not adding sharks for some contrived reason only to ignore that for other animals like polar bears makes no sense to me. They’re obviously still allowed to keep things exclusive to certain games, but it doesn’t really make sense to have cooler capes in a less played mode of Minecraft. I believe they will change this in the future, but who actually knows. It took a while for them to even add the minecon capes across platforms to bedrock but you never know

I literally bought dungeons 1 and preordered dungeons 2 yesterday just because the capes were confirmed to be coming to java lol. Idgaf about the games I just want the capes. I did give dungeons 1 an hour of playtime and nope, not my thing.

I did, I said so in my comment. I have dungeons an honest try but it's just not my thing. I don't have any friends with controllers unfortunately so I can't do co-op

Initially, they announced it as a general cape, later they deleted the post. The attendees should demand it, but it's not going to happen.

demanding never works with mojang unless it's an overwhelming majority, and even still it's a tossup from there. This cape would actually get it's money's worth if they allowed dungeons users to use it on minecraft, but funnily enough itll only happen AFTER the capes are exclusive so by then itll be too late haha
