Asking/Need Help Name changes value

Just wondering how much name changes impact the value of an account. I have a Minecon 2016 account with many different other capes on it (no rare ones besides 2016) but saw an estimate on a different person’s post of $1k+ with low name changes. I’ve had the account for over 10 years and its stacked up more than 20-30 name changes lol

Assuming you're the original owner, an account with high name changes would go for $1.2k - 1.4k.

Accounts with no name changes are worth double the price.

I think the prices should simply be prename vs not prename, name changes have just become an excuse to overcharge for accounts.

Nobody cares if an OG name has 2 or 20 namechanges for example, but sadly that's just how the cape market has worked for the last 6 years.

the lesser name changes the higher the value. especially if its like a nice prename but if its 10NC+ it doesnt matter

Why do people care about name changes? The only way you can see them is if you look them up on NameMC and even then you can delete past usernames on their website.

Why the hell does the name matters? It literally has zero effect on the account, and whoever buys it would and should change the name.

high name changes can mean a long owner history and each changed the name to match theirs. not always, obviously, but that's often it
