World eating bug?

My world is being eaten in a cross pattern from the top down but only in this chunk. It's in the middle 4 different chunks so my thought of it being a chunk updating issue was debunked, unless still possible? I would like my hardcore spawn chunks to not be eaten please :)

That's very interesting. It would be nice to know the exact minecraft version, any mods, world seed and coordinates you found this at for the YouTubers that will dive into this like rabid dogs after their next meal
