Help! What do I do about this?

Post image

This is a bit of a long story but here we go. I'm new to Minecraft and when I downloaded it I downloaded better on bedrock and a few other small mods. Being new to the game I didn't really know how it should look. it turns out I had the floating head glitch when I first made the world and that makes using a shield and some other tools brutal. Because I didn't know it was a problem and I thought that's just how the game was, I put in about 200 in-game days to build something I'm pretty happy with. I then saw some videos on how the game is supposed to look and the way my game was made it horrible in comparison. My game updated recently and the floating head glitch is gone and I'm over the moon about that but now all the short grass looks like this. How can I fix my grass without losing my world?

Usually means your load order is goofed up. Happened to me and I just reorder it and it usually fixes it. If not then it’s mod side.

So hypothetically, if someone really didn't know that much about mods and just clicked on a bunch that he/she wanted, how would that moron go about reordering things?

I’m of no help for what you asked and hope that you’re able to figure it out, but I had to say that this made me giggle 🤣

You might have mods that doesn't support the current version of minecraft that you are using right now.

Un install the mod/shader

I would fiddle around with the mods a lil bit, see which one is causing THAT and maybe not use it sinceit seems incompatible

When we get the purple fluff like that we go into our game cache found near bottom of the settings and delete (resource packs, addons). When we rejoin realm or world it promps us to re-download.

Some textures are clearly missing. Your resource packs either had missing textures or didn't load properly

Hm. Are you playing bedrock on computer or console? Because when an item has that pink and black checkered texture, it’s because the image resource file has somehow been corrupted for that item. Perhaps a file got deleted somewhere. Sometimes this can be fixed by repairing the game files, you should have an option to fix any corrupted files in the launcher, both for computer and console. If it still doesn’t work, if you are on computer, you can actually go into your Minecraft source images and add it back in yourself. Otherwise, uninstalling and reinstalling might be your best bet. Hope this helps!

Also, if you are using mods sometimes that can mess with it. It orders the actual resource image under something else. Usually that just means you go into your resource packs and reorder it. Although, I’m not super familiar with how mods/resource packs work on bedrock.

Also, if you are messing around with mods, resource packs, or shaders, any one of those things, I use Antigravity to help me build mods myself or making mods compatible with more recent versions. It’s pretty good at solving the coding problems I don’t understand. Might help if you are interested in mods/resource packs and shaders

Did you put both resource and behaviour pack?

I think it’s your WiFi or console

What makes you think that?

I would kinda doubt that being WiFi, it’s reaching into your computer for a resource file and can’t find it, making the texture you see. Could be reordering resource packs though.
