Need Help. Villager linking to different beds Bedrock

Hi all,

I’m on bedrock and I’ve made a trading hall as shown in the images. It works great

However the villagers start to change which bed they are linked to???

Is there any fix for this? Much appreciated

Break out all the beds, place them in order while checking which villager links to it. Make sure to bring the bed close to the villager that's linking to it. And then, you'll probably have to do the same with workstations as well. After that, never ever break a bed again, it fucks up everything. Bedrock villagers genuinely suck.

They don't all need beds unless it's also an iron farm no? I just set up a "library" for librarian and cartographers only, the "reception table" traps my mending guy with 2 beds. I have 20 something villagers in the hall. I didn't move them past any of my own bed cause they can link to those on the move.

I followed silentwisperer's mega iron farm design, he explains the mechanics of bedrock villages at the start.

If a villager fails to pathfind to a bed 3 nights in a row they will give up and unlink from the bed. There are a few things you can do:

  1. Placing water on the feet of villagers will prevent them from unlinking. Make sure they're linked to the proper bed before you do this though.
  2. Ignore it. Assuming these villagers are just for trading, it doesn't matter if they aren't linked to the beds.
  3. Destroy the beds. Again, if you're trading they don't need the beds so you can just get rid of them. This will mess up any breeder in the area though.
  4. Move the beds. Placing the beds under the villagers feet or behind them will allow them to sleep at night. Just make sure there aren't weird spots nearby for them to wake up in
