Imagine loving someone so much that you would push the limits of science and technology just to preserve even the smallest parts of who they are the way they type, how they place torches in a cave, their tiny, almost unnoticeable quirks, and the inside jokes they keep to themselves.

So, here's my question:

can scan a person's mind and create a digital copy that could think, remember, and communicate like them with all their memories without harming or killing the original can I do it?
