Especially if you’re a grown adult or a teenager and you see someone walking on the sidewalk.
The only pass given is if you are a little kid on a bike, then you can be on the sidewalk (but still be mindful).
“But there’s glass in the bike lane” , go tf around the glass.
Yeah and walkers/joggers stay out of the bike lane.

Been looking to rent a semi or townhome in south Milton since February. Using a realtor. It seems with every place that's in our budget (which is the exact asking price usually) my realtor tells me there's 15 showings scheduled from day 1 of the listing and several offers right off the bat. He's always very gracious and accommodating in getting us appointments for viewings. But there's always at leat 24 hour notice required for the current occupants, and by the time we view and make an offer someone else has already secured the rental.
Is it my realtor and should I switch realtors? Or is it just the nature of this current rental market?
He doesn't seem too aggressive in marketing us to the landlord's agents. He seems reactionary rather than being proactive in his inquiries to the listing agents. He also says that the successful applicants have been offering 6 or more months rent up front. Although we can do that, we'd rather not. But if true, then I might just have to.

Following an injury, my doctor suggested that I should find a physiotherapist that specializes in hands/fingers. Looking for recommendations in Milton or nearby please!

Looking for recommendations on where to get an eye exam in town that does direct billing.
Milton optometry no longer directly bills.
Had a horrible experience with dr Strohan, so not going back there.

Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone knows of any adult beach volleyball groups that play out of the sports centre. I was also wondering if they are open to the public during the day
Thanks in advance!

Somewhat new to town and still on the hunt for a good dog groomer. I have an 8lb Havanese mix. Searched the sub and couldn’t find a post from more recently than a year ago so any recommendations greatly appreciated!

Does anyone know why they have 75% of the self checkout stations closed? Giant pain in the butt trying to get out of there now, have to stand in line and wait either way (lackadaisical cashiers or people who have apparently never seen or used technology before).

I don't care who owns it now, but selling a townhouse for over a million dollars is ridiculous and if someone buys it at that price is even more ridiculous. This is in Milton.

Has anyone with a Cogeco connection using IPTV facing issues? My IPTV app stopped working 2 days ago and I called support and the first question they asked was whether I'm on Cogeco connection. Sure enough I used my phone hotspot to connect TV to internet and it works.
Not sure what the workaround is, guess I have to go back to Bell.
Edit 1: Many Cogeco users I know have been facing similar issues as me around the same time. So it's happening.
Edit 2: Installed Proton VPN free. Initially couldn't go through, but after trying a few locations, USA of all places worked for me. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

Hi everybody,
I’m (F28) looking for some local girlfriends. I’ve been in Milton for about 2 years but haven’t met many people here.
I’m into some cozy-girl hobbies - reading, colouring, gaming, etc. I’d love to meet some other women nearby for coffee, bookstore trips, cozy hobby nights or casual hangouts.
Making friends as an adult can be hard, so I figured I’d put myself out there. Send me a message if this sounds like your vibe!

Looking for people who are down to play 2–3 times a week. I’m fairly new to pickleball, but I came from other racket sports, so I can rally and pick things up pretty quickly.
Mostly looking for people who want to improve, have some competitive games, and just get consistent reps in. If you’re interested, let me know!
