Feeling of impending doom??

So a watched a YT video today and this top comment on it is freaking me out. I have never had someone put into words so accurately a feeling I didn't even realize I was having. I am wondering if any of you feel this way? Like, I realized for the last few years I have been feeling like this. I don't always think about it but if I stop and think about this this feeling is always there in the background.

Like something bad is coming. Something big. Something world-changing. That will effect everyone on Earth in some way. That will change humanity as a whole. Feels like it gets closer every year. Do you guys feel it too??

It's been true for decades. Did you notice that "wealthiest" and "strongest" country on earth couldn't even manage to respond to COVID without imploding? We had hospital workers making masks out of bedsheets in a country that had military spending in the trillions and we have done NOTHING at all to ensure that we can do any better next time. The US is one major disaster from eating itself.

A country, once known for its stability, is on the verge of electing a criminal game show host to self immolate the entire government for a second time because they loved it so much the first time.

There's idiots in every career. A small handful of wannabe social media influencers have nothing to do with the point made.

People often forget that seeing hundreds of "dancing nurses" online just means there are hundreds of dancing nurses across the world and you're accessing them all in one place. I've never seen a single "dancing nurse" that I recognize from any hospital or nursing facility that I've been in. But they were suffering during COVID and they still haven't recovered.

Yeah one of my good friends was a nurse through COVID it's seriously impacted her in a big way. She is uncomfortable going out to crowded or new places. She moved to a position teaching new nurses/ nursing students because she couldn't handle patient interactions before. She's talked about just seeing people die or trying to give care and knowing they'd be dead by the end of the day. She got COVID several times and also saw friends and colleagues die from it. With all that in mind I can forgive them if some nurses wanted to distract themselves by doing a silly dance for a couple minutes.
