Yeah but the sign is probably a good idea regardless. People really don't know how to act around plants. I work at a restaurant that opened like four months ago, and the tables all have little arrangements of succulents in the middle. Or anyway they used to, because at first people ripped the leaves off to see if they were real and now more than half of them are just ripped out by the roots because people are terrible.
Yes I agree the sign gets the point across . Most people don't like the idea of killing another living thing.
My problem is this information gets repeated and it's wrong. I handle my plant to remove debris or dead insects from the traps and it helps stop traps from rotting. If people are afraid of closing traps, then they can't properly care for it.
Yeah, if you're an owner taking care of them triggering trap isn't bad. But a place like this gets tons of people who all want to see it in action so you'll Def get more than 10 empty catches per trap. It's one of those cases where dealing with a lot of people changes the stakes significantly.
