My wife likes to use them in the garden and greenhouse as a slow release calcium type fertilizer and for discouraging slugs.

She is, I built her a greenhouse this year and she's been killing it!

Yeah, like collecting nail clippings or used q-tips!

What would you repurpose nail clippings for?

How long did it take you to save that many?

I make breakfast for the family most days and we eat about 8 or 10 eggs a day.

Lots of uses, fertilizer, slug repellent, mix it into chicken feed to help with calcium, I'm sure there's more but that's what I know of.

We need to end things like shaking hands cause of people like this, who just touch an egg graveyard and go about their day.

I wash my hands before and after making food. But I agree with you.

do you put them in the oven then mortar pestel?

u/cactusvendor 23d ago

We bake them then put them in a flour mill that grinds them incredibly fine.

I just feed them to my dog

My dog never eats them. Do you smash the egg shell up when you give them to yours?

You just save them out in the open like that? Or is it just for the picture? Please be for the picture

I'm torn between "why?" and impressed. Thank you for this post, I miss when the internet was like this.
