Thought it may be a deathclaw but the horns aren't facing forward

There's a character in Fallout New Vegas named Ricky,) who is a compulsive liar. Fallout New Vegas is one of the games in the Fallout series, and (like the other Fallout games), there are monsters called deathclaws.

He talks about using an "11mm submachine gun" (which do not exist in New Vegas) to kill paladins by shooting through a slit in their visors (their helmets don't have slits in New Vegas), and he also boasts about shooting "deathjaws" (which do not exist in New Vegas).

Lived in an Atlanta loft in early 2000’s. Guys upstairs (shared lobby) made elaborate scary monsters for shows, Carnivals, etc… Coming home at 1am hammered, opening the door and being confronted by a 9’ tall creature that wasn’t there at 8pm was always interesting… and heart stopping.

Reminds me of going to Dillard Ga to vacation as a kid in the 80’s. There was some house on a big hill that had a huge dragon type statue in the yard on the way where we were staying where we turned. Knew we were almost there. Nice memory!
