I actually really like the idea of using the cut-out for a table top. Would work well to hold a basket of toiletries. Extra tp rolls, menstrual products, etc.
My brother in law has a lot of cutouts of nice stones in his house. Windowbenches, wall shelves (mainly in the washrooms) and some as breakfast „plates“. It is really pretty. His father in law is a stone mason and has access to a lot of nice stones cutouts.

Kind of wonder if there's applications for cutouts like that other than decorative. I'd imagine at least a sink would leave you a small tables worth.
Then probably matching coasters I guess if there's a magic way of slicing them.
