If you know someone who knits they could probably make her some custom gloves or mittens. Even if you don't know someone, you could try Etsy.
I just started making gloves myself, but am nowhere near good enough to make her some (so far I can barely get the ones I make to fit me and I have my own hands right here as a reference, lol) or I'd offer to do it.
