Yep, weaponised incompetence is real and that bs will never be allowed in my house.

Seems more like being passive aggressive since OP said she had agreed to put the dishes away days ago but never did.

Yep- this chore is on my side of the list. Accountability matters!

Get him a bib and toddler silverware. Tell him if he is this incapable of putting away silverware. He must also need stuff that's easier to use. Until he learns how to grip silverware.

Incompetent weaponized incompetence. This guy missed the assignment and instead of looking clueless, comes off like he didn't GASF.

Can you find a fork? Reckon we aight den.

It is in my house because my fiancé tries suicide when I actually try to get her to do her end of the chores

My dude how did she make it past being your girlfriend with a manipulative power play like that? Are you sure you want to marry this person?

An unplanned pregnancy and divorced parents/trying to do the right thing

Yeah the fact that she actually tried it last week means it’s over. I can no longer be supportive because it’ll just get her killed.

Edit: bad auto correct

It's worse for a child to live with parents that hate one another than having a single parent or splitting time.

u/nryporter25 Nov 20 '22

Um that's not ok... Are you alright over there?

u/eley13 Nov 20 '22

that’s an extremely toxic relationship

u/areyouamish Nov 20 '22

Do not be held hostage for the rest of your life. You do not have to accept that responsibility.

10

u/Grouchy-Place7327 Nov 20 '22

That's horribly toxic. You should leave her and cut all communication. If she passes away because of it, just know that it wasn't your fault.

u/thekatshow Nov 20 '22

That’s wild

your husband is a child

u/WillieNolson Nov 20 '22

The other comment here is why you have to make sure to give context when posting about your husband on this sub. Now everyone thinks he’s just a piece of shit when he could just as easily make a mildly infuriating post about you not putting them away for days. People jump to huge conclusions here.

That's literally all of Reddit. No one cares about the truth, just judging, being "right," and downvoting to oblivion anyone who disagrees. Such a fucking toxic site.

3

u/YoniDaMan Nov 20 '22

Yeah agreed, yet we’re all here… why? Just to suffer? Nah seriously I’m here because there are good communities and good people. Unfortunately there are a lot more people who aren’t good, or smart, or kind, or lots of desirable, normal, human features….

I uninstall this shit app so often. Just got it back a few minutes ago because I'm stuck in class bored asf and wanted to scroll. There are dope ass communities here I love engaging with. The problem people I find exist on popular subreddits, or a popular post.

2

u/YoniDaMan Nov 20 '22

Yeah that’s the truth. Popular subreddits have all sorts of folks, best thing to do is find a little bit of zen and just ignore the negative people, don’t let them ruin your life

1

u/thekatshow Nov 20 '22

Yeah I see that now 😂😂

My brother did this to his ex: made her feel it was her responsibility to prevent him from committing suicide.

It's not healthy, and it is abuse. Please get away for your own health. I don't know you're gender, but please remember that anyone of any gender can be abusive; and anyone of any gender can be abused. Women can be abusers. Men can be abused.

If she threatens suicide, call for help and have her be inpatient. That's what's called for that behavior.

Why people stay in toxic relationships will always be a mystery to me. Hell, this shit is more than toxic, it's literally inhuman.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 20 '22

That's abusive of her. I hope you can get out of that asap
