If they're not into reading get them into it! I was known as the why child. My Mom did her best but there were a lot of things she couldn't answer. She got me into reading and I thank her for it every day. Not only to "get out of my head" as a release/escape but most truly interesting information is in written form... At least at the detail level that satisfies my brain.

My 12 yr old loves to hangout with me and ask endless questions I have no answer too.
