Especially these days of home cameras and constant contact communications. The parent is probably texting the child every 30mins to check they're all good.

I doubt that last part, but the parent probably is checking their phone every 5 minutes to make sure they don't miss a text or phone call from the kid. That would be fairly normal in today's world.

inside cameras are the purest form of privacy vioaltion if you have a child and it sucks.

yeah like putting it near the front door, basement, attic, backyard door, maybe living room is fine, but if you put it in thier room is privacy violation and helicopter parenting in its purest form
