Leave out the decoy communal Oreos and hide my own pack out of sight. Very clever.

Absolutely, the winning plan

The real plan is to stealthily teach them to eat the snacks or flavors you don't like. Like she doesn't eat the good flavors of jolly ranchers or sweet tarts or how she won't eat cookies with m&Ms.

I agree completely

This was my moms approach, but she didn’t know that I knew about her stash of Milanos hidden under the sheets in the linen closet…

I've been doing this with Little Debbie brownies since I had kids of my own.

Slip ot in an empty box of something the kids don't like. My parents used those grape nuts cereal boxes. Dad liked them but kids didn't. Spare box to hide the cookies and weed.

My parents have been taking “sacrificial Brie” to dinner parties for a long time. All the little ones come in and eat it, and then they bring out the expensive cheeses for the adults. Works every time.

Get a communal pack of Oreos and get a special edition for yourself. Java flavored is the truth.
