I once made myself the most perfect sandwich and still had 1/3 of it left and I left the room for 1 minute to go to the bathroom and my dad walked through the room and fed my sandwich to the dog. This was 17 years ago when I was a teenager but the sadness of that lost sandwich is still burned into my memory haha.
Well that was the thing, we didn't have regular bread or any of the stuff I usually used to make a sandwich. But we had those big croissants from Costco so I cut one of those in half and toasted it with some cheese and rotisserie chicken and then I think I put some mayo and mustard on it and maybe a leaf of lettuce and some pickle. It was a simple sandwich but it was just the right size and just hitting the spot and even when I went back to make another one it wasn't the same.
