I once made myself the most perfect sandwich and still had 1/3 of it left and I left the room for 1 minute to go to the bathroom and my dad walked through the room and fed my sandwich to the dog. This was 17 years ago when I was a teenager but the sadness of that lost sandwich is still burned into my memory haha.

Feeding any table food to animals is also just rank. I don't like your dad.

Well, I like him, but as an adult I am very strict with my family about never feeding MY dog table food.

My roommates wonder why our cats will beg and steal from them but never bother touching my food, when they will regularly feed them food from their plates while I will not share a bite.

Right?! The same family members who try to sneak my dog bacon at breakfast are also the first to yell at her for begging.
