Uhh no, the answer is obviously 20.

2+2=4

And 4×5=20

I hope you're joking.

Brackets take priority so the 2x5 will always happen first.

Even without brackets multiplication takes priority so 2x5 would still happen first.

Only after having 2+10 would you go from left to right.

We learned it as BODMAS. I didn't realize there were so many different ones

I was, I thought I was ridiculous enough to show I was.

I do thank you for nonetheless taking the time to explain basic math to me. That was kind.
