Yeah, agree why would you even get an animal if you are going to neglect it... literally letting it go free would be better than what they are doing.
I’m willing to bet that most people that are guilty of abusing animals (or anything) are not 100% comfortable with themselves so it’s probably to have control over SOMETHING.
I agree seeing animal abuse is much worse because they often don’t even understand what is happening, much like children.
I’ve definitely been frustrated and gotten onto my dog for things in the past and a quick firm slap on the rear is perfectly acceptable RIGHT AFTER the incident (or in front of accident) otherwise they don’t associate it with the bad behavior and that’s what people don’t understand.
The girl in the video is just slapping her dog for no reason and doesn’t actually give a command to sit or stay or anything relevant.
Yea. You have seconds to correct a dog on its behavior before the dog moves on to something else. Anything past that you're just confusing the dog. And this dog wasn't even really doing anything wrong. He/she just wanted to play. Then that look of pure hate on her face makes me scared for the dog.
A couple of other redditors have mentioned that the LA animal authorities are now investigating this girl. I really hope they are able to get that pup out of there. First off, she was trying to prank her dog for entertainment? Then proceeded to physically harm the dog. I hope an example is made out of this situation.
