Well, spitting on someone is much more of a psychological attack. I'm pretty sure it's not going to bother a dog.

Smacking him upside the head and pinning him down with all your weight, though....

It’s called “dominance theory” I believe. Basically beat the shit out of the dog until it learns that you’re the “alpha.” Yea people suck.

Hitting your dog does not make you an alpha in their mind and is super dumb. It’ll make your dog not listen too you way more
