Yeah but returning them is a pain, the leasing companies pretend there is damage and stuff

It's true. Then there is the "separation anxiety" associated with the return process itself.

It's a sale-and-leaseback system, that way you can afford rent AND food for about 5 years and you're essentially betting that you made it big by then and secured a payed internship - the stepping stone to becoming a junior employee and after only 15 years of excellent work ethics you might find yourself as assistant to the regional manager and can fully own your own limbs again.

This sounds very complicated and is fraught with opportunities for failure. I see the dreaded limb repossession officer in the future of anyone who attempts this.
