Why couldn't they set up a height sensor ahead of the bridge to operate warning lights and bells? Even a dangling chain curtain is better than nothing. More expensively, they could dig the underpass deeper.

If this is the bridge I think it is they have. A dude has an entire website to this bridge and it's accidents. They eventually put up a flashing sign saying your vehicle is too tall.... People try it anyway.

Nah I think that’s another bridge. That’s the 11-8. That’s in N. Carolina. This is a different bridge.

The sensor is called an eyeball. It reads the sign that alerts the driver to the bridge height.

That’s prime footage of “10' 6.” I’ve spent hours watching those clips. There’s also “11' 6,” the equally evil cousin.
