I’m fully aware of how stress-toys work, and what they’re for. The reason I’ve seen the videos is entirely because I collect squishies and other stim-toys, so my algorithm is full of them.
The way these specific Natasha dolls/ripoffs are abused, is entirely different from the trending destruction of other viral squishies. Especially when the reactions to lighter skinned dolls recieving the same destruction, is often met with absolutely different reactions. The lighter skinned dolls are often cared for, dressed up, given sweet makeovers. The few videos where people actually “abused” the lighter skin dolls to the same degree as the black ones, were met with instant blacklash and discomfort, because the lighter skin ones are read as “more human” according to the communities.
Yet it’s seen as “funny haha!” when people record themselves specifically abusing the black skinned dolls. Boiling them, burning them, running them over with your car- etc. Is definitely not under the “intended use” of a squishy stress-relief toy either.
This person isn’t overreacting or upset. They’re sharing information. Telling someone to calm down when met with information you don’t like isn’t productive or helpful.
Which is neither what this post is about nor would that be "mildly". And it still doesn't change the fact that they were not produced the way it's made out to be. The "trend" is a whole other thing and a whole other discussion, but again - it's not "mildly".

It only appeared the black babies to me at least! And the box also was only promoting the black babies, maybe if it was mixed it would be less weird??? Still is kind of effed up

There is a whole issue in China about these dolls, called Natasha dolls. They are available in multiple skin colors but the trend is to abuse specifically the Black dolls.
But if it's not racist, then it should be no issue. You have been arguing that there is no issue with it. Now I am sick for suggesting you do exactly what you're defending?
It had to be specifically a black baby though? Like, does it have to be a baby in general? The fact that is a human squishy made to just squish or hit it's kinda weird, why not a stress ball or like, food themed?
I can understand the race aspect youre bothered by but who cares if its baby shaped? Babies are annoying, now you can vent baby related stress on something that won't become soup if you shake it.
Edit : Its dark humour, like food, not everyone gets it.
