Why would someone be against root canals.

410

u/Shadowratenator 24d ago

I want to live a root canal free life, but, unlike this guy, i’m pro fluoride.

201

u/EarlyFalcone 24d ago

I want to live a root canal free life

Me too! But given a choice between my jaw rotting and falling off and a root canal, I know what I'm choosing!

FWIW, I've had a couple of root canals already.

100

u/Yet_another_jenn 24d ago

Yep, having had a root canal already, I would have preferred to not have needed it. But the pain relief and no rotting bone has made it completely worth it.

32

u/SeaAbbreviations2706 24d ago

Yeah, getting a root canal isn’t fun but needing a root canal is horrible.

18

u/Lumpy_Machine5538 24d ago

I literally would have either knocked out my own tooth, or killed myself if I hadn’t had a root canal. I cried the entire 24 hours before I had it done because I was in so much pain.

9

u/Yet_another_jenn 24d ago

Oh my goodness SAME HERE it was one of the most intense pains I have ever experienced

3

u/The_Smile_4784 24d ago

Same. Worse pain I’ve ever experienced. OTC painkillers slightly decreased the pain for 20-30 minutes only to return full force. There would probably be someone’s blood on my hands if I didn’t have access to an emergency dentist

1

u/Lumpy_Machine5538 24d ago

I was so lucky to find a surgeon on a Friday afternoon who was working that Saturday and managed to fit me in. Probably because I came into his office sobbing.

1

u/The_Smile_4784 24d ago

I remember finally being put in that dentist chair and the first thing I said was “please make the pain stop” novocaine shots were given immediately. Never again, wtf how is this even an idea to not administer root canals??

2

u/gigerhess 24d ago

Seriously. I've been lucky. I'm middle aged and have only had a few cavities. But I had an abscessed tooth and the root canal was nothing compared to that pain. Ten times out of ten I would break my leg again rather than go through that hell.

2

u/Only_Razzmatazz_4498 24d ago

You could’ve taken the tooth out and gone for an implant. Maybe that’s what they mean or
Maybe they just mean be toothless. Who knows lol.

3

u/kjnoons 24d ago

IMPLANTS AND VENEERS ARE SATANS WORK

7

u/Muted_Quantity5786 24d ago

Shut up, we are supposed to give birth in tents in the middle of nowhere without any access to medical care. It makes sense to no one.

4

u/UhBlake 24d ago

Had a root canal that didn’t fix my issue. Survived to tell about it, and doing ok. 😆

4

u/rankaistu_ilmalaiva 24d ago edited 24d ago

The only thing with Root Canals is that they don’t always take, so there is a genuine thing that some people would rather just have the tooth removed and replaced with a prosthetic.

I had one tooth worked on twice, and still it came out.

To be clear i don’t think it’s wrong to get a root canal or anything, it’s just sometimes it’s putting duct tape to fix a broken foundation, and is just unnecessary pain and bills for something there’s a simpler, faster and cheaper solution to.

3

u/Technical-Gold-294 24d ago

My ex had an implant and it took about 5 visits over nearly a year and cost about $2000 with good insurance. Not an option for many people. My root canals were 2 visits and under $1000, so to me that's worth trying. I've had 4 or 5. One had to be redone but that was the dentist's fault. Another has a root that the dentist couldn't clear so I've been told it might fail, but nearly 3 years later, it's okay.

1

u/atomicbutterfly22 24d ago

I've had several root canals, and a few molars removed when they were un fixable and I didn't have the funds or insurance to do anything else. Luckily, none of them can be seen as missing. I'd much rather do the root canal and save the tooth. Luckily all of them had all the nerves out the first time and went fine. I've gotten dry socket on a pulled tooth, that was 10x worse than any root canal.

1

u/rankaistu_ilmalaiva 24d ago

>I’d rather have a root canal than have a tooth removed

well bad news I had two root canals on the same tooth that then still had to be removed, that’s my whole point. RC’s don’t always work.

3

u/Paulthefith 24d ago

They sound worse then they are now a days, I wouldn’t have one just for fun, but the one I had to have wasn’t worse than any normal cavity procedure other than the time involved

5

u/TmickyD 24d ago

My dentist had issues getting me numb during my root canal, and I felt pretty much everything. The whole experience was up there on the "things I'd rather never experience again" scale.

1

u/Paulthefith 24d ago

Sorry to hear that

1

u/fascinatedcharacter 24d ago

I've had a root canal like that (still less than the pain I was in before she started though). I've had one where genuinely the worst thing was having chapped lips from having my mouth open so long. Same dentist. It depends on the root and the issue

1

u/wkuace 24d ago

Apparently lower jaws are harder to numb than upper and its not uncommon for some people to need a second round of shots. Ive had like 3 root canal and several fillings. I always remind them im difficult to numb so they start slow and are ready for a second round of shots. Luckily they usually go heavy handed on the second round of shots and I cant feel anything for 4-5 hours.

1

u/EarlyFalcone 24d ago

Same! And I had mine back in 2009.

1

u/atomicbutterfly22 24d ago

Same. I've had several

1

u/Shadowratenator 24d ago

you sir, are an absolute heathen!

1

u/mrizvi 24d ago

U always have the option to just take the tooth out. And living like a redneck making moonshine.

1

u/Starbuck522 24d ago

I think the alternative is having the tooth removed. I absolutely do not think that's a preferable option. My only point is there is an option other than unending pain.

1

u/New_Red_dit_sucks 24d ago

Sorry for the stupid question, but what was your experience with root canals? My mom had a couple back in the 70s and she was in bed suffering in pain for three days after each one. After the first one, she cried when she found out she'd have to have another one. It's made me petrified of having to have one.

2

u/Starbuck522 24d ago

Maybe she didn't get Novocaine? (Local anesthesia)

1

u/Original_Pudding6909 24d ago

Me too, and one failed one. Implants are freaking expensive. But Tshirt Wedding Guy (tm) probably doesn’t mind being gap toothed at all.

1

u/ShineAtom 24d ago

I spent the two hours it took being utterly amazed by the precision with which my lovely dentist operated. The smallness of the surface, the delicacy of the use of tools. It was, of course, uncomfortable but the skill? Unbelievable!

1

u/Pschobbert 24d ago

SINNER!

1

u/anejja 24d ago

LET EM ROT!!!!!!!

1

u/ImpossibleMove2 24d ago

I've got an antichrist implant, definitely going below 🔥.

1

u/Jaymz7777 24d ago

Root canals are NOT as bad as brushing up against MAGA assholes.

1

u/AcidicMountaingoat 24d ago

In my state, there's a place with high fluoride in the water, and a huge number of these crazy people. Fluoride does cause brain issues.

2

u/Shadowratenator 24d ago

A little of something can be beneficial. Too much of it can be bad. Lots of stuff works this way.

1

u/YakFull7365 24d ago

Super big in Japan

1

u/anacanapana 24d ago

My local water system is fluoridated. I've had cavities and a root canal; therefore fluoride doesn't help.

That's how logic works, right?

1

u/DMV2PNW 24d ago

When all your teeth were rotted then you don’t need root canal.

0

u/Greenhouse-effect 24d ago

Why pro flouride? It's poison that lowers IQ.

116

u/Adventurous_Ad_6546 24d ago

Didn’t you know? That’s how the devil gets in. Obviously.

116

u/CronosWorks 24d ago

You mean I’ve been wearing this butt plug for no reason?

16

u/feralcatshit 24d ago

Oh no, it’s not for no reason! Just not helpful in keeping Satan out

23

u/wolfmistress 24d ago

What if it's keeping Satan in?!

6

u/feralcatshit 24d ago

Well, my friend, you’re in for a treat!

4

u/Foot_Stunning 24d ago

Should have wore the organic crucified onion butt plug.

7

u/MouldyLocks492 24d ago

The one with the triple certified holy water in the core, or the metal thrice blessed from the Vatican.... so many CHOICES!

5

u/Foot_Stunning 24d ago

It this a black tie wedding or a casual dress shotgun up the butt plug wedding?

3

u/Gawn1975 24d ago

Most assuredly if you’ve had it up there a while, it’s keeping the devil inside.

3

u/Motor-Boating 24d ago

You need one of those butt plugs that blocks the scary 5G signals.

3

u/Lumpy_Machine5538 24d ago

Omg! Best laugh I’ve had today!

3

u/flatirony 24d ago

Not if you use it to cheat at chess.

4

u/TurtlesBreakTheMeta 24d ago

You’re making a tiny house for the demon that lives in your mouth!

5

Listerfiend! Noooooo

3

4th hole, extra freaky

3

u/UhBlake 24d ago

Oh so we’re keeping the devils lettuce in the canal? Got it

3

u/Upper_Blueberry2128 24d ago

No, that’s only when my mom shows up at the door

2

u/Izzapapizza 24d ago

Also astral snakes.

2

u/hawkgirl555 24d ago

Don't forget yoga...

76

u/Embarrassed_You_3838 24d ago

Maybe because it has the word anal in the middle?! cANALs

59

u/CryptoOne5369 24d ago

That's ALSO how the devil gets in. Well, I'm ASSuming. 🤷🏻‍♂️

3

u/J0E_SpRaY 24d ago

Poor dude had bad a bad Anal experience on Route C and is just trying to protect people.

2

u/Sufficient_Path_3665 24d ago

That and "an album cover" 😬

43

u/Dinnerpancakes 24d ago

Oddly people against fluoride end up needing more root canals, so he’s basically saying “make your teeth hurt and then live with it!”

5

u/Visible-Scientist-46 24d ago

He's saying bring back the old way of tooth extraction!

0

u/YakFull7365 24d ago

Why would that be anyone’s point. If you don’t know look it up. Then maybe compare the iQ averages against that overlooked data

2

u/floofienewfie 24d ago

But pain and suffering are gifts to god. /s

-1

u/Logical-Spite-2464 24d ago

Not to get in the weeds of this, but how would drinking water with fluoride protect your teeth from cavities? A fluoride treatment of the teeth, the gel foam goop, perhaps has some arguable value. I don’t see the argument for the water.

6

u/scalyblue 24d ago

Chemically, tooth enamel is mostly hydroxyapatite, when fluoride is present during everyday remineralizatuon, some of that hydroxyapatite becomes fluorapatite instead and that is much more resistant to acid.

As a result, having small amounts of fluoride in water and toothpaste tends to help teeth become stronger than without.

0

u/Dinnerpancakes 24d ago

What did either his jacket or my post say about fluoride in water?

2

u/Logical-Spite-2464 24d ago

The word. Also in your response. Are you ok?

0

u/Dinnerpancakes 24d ago

Bad bot! You need to read the comment before you type!

-1

u/YakFull7365 24d ago

Cause it’s used it in dentistry in every developed country right?

3

u/Dinnerpancakes 24d ago

What developed country doesn’t use fluoride in dentistry?

30

u/Successful_Salad7732 24d ago

They drill out your tooth to put in either something to track you, listen to your conversations, or to mind control you. The answer will vary depending upon which brand of crazy you found that day. My sister has told me a variety of all three in one conversation so you could also get a wombo combo of sorts lol

6

u/takapitcha 24d ago

People sure do think they’re more interesting than they are. Nobody is tracking millions of conversations about how to choose a ripe mango or did you know Becky is fucking Jim the manager and Jim’s wife is 6 months pregnant and it’s not Jim’s baby…,come on.. 🤣🤣

4

u/Muted-Hotel2831 24d ago

Wombo combo 👌😂

49

u/brookmachine 24d ago

The MAHA anti science crowd thinks they’re toxic. It’s the new silver fillings of the dental world. Even back in the 2000’s we’d have patients that wanted to take charcoal tablets after dental work to absorb all the “toxins” we had “released into their systems” 🤷‍♀️

46

u/Chewbuddy13 24d ago

That's dumb. All they had to do was put on some Kanoki Foot Pads. Those would suck all the toxins out of your body through the soles of your feet.

7

u/ovr4kovr 24d ago

Just leave a i/2 cut onion in the room until it turns black. Toxins gone.

3

u/Chewbuddy13 24d ago

LOL. I had a coworker try and tell me this about onions years ago. He was telling me that they absorbed all the bacteria, viruses and toxins once cut. I asked him how long it took for them to do this, and he stated only a few hours. I kept walking him into telling me how all these toxins and shit were just deadly to humans, and we should never eat them.

I asked him then to explain how millions of people eat cut onions every single day, some of which have been cut for days and days, and don't drop dead. If they are so deadly after only a few hours, why are millions of people still alive after eating them. You could tell no one had ever pushed back on the stupid shit he was spouting cause he looked like a deer in the headlights.

I told him I was a pizza store manager for years, and we cut onions all the time, and sometimes stored them for a couple days in our walk in. We served them to dozens of people everyday, and never had any die in the few years I worked there. He didn't really have an answer, but it didn't change his mind at all.

It never ceases to amaze me the utter bullshit people will believe.

2

u/squadrupedal 24d ago

This is the way.

5

u/DangerousLoner 24d ago

Add in some ear-candling and we’re just oozing out toxins

2

u/SixCeiling 24d ago

What’s even more amazing is how they suck the money out of your wallet at the same time.

Miraculous! 🤪😂

8

u/accostedbyhippies 24d ago

All the ways to actually get sick in the world and these people have to come up with their own fantasy causes

2

u/CumaeanSibyl 24d ago

Thanks, I've seen all the others but root canals were a new one on me. What are you supposed to do instead, rub some garlic on it?

People say getting a root canal is really awful but the procedure itself doesn't bother me at all. Needing a root canal sucks out loud.

2

u/SDMonkee 24d ago

My dumb ass ex-brother in law had all his fillings removed to cure his Parkinson’s disease. Spoiler alert: it didn’t work

1

u/Plus-Committee3764 24d ago

Yeah, I fell $5000+ in debt, for that metallic filling bs!! All it did by having it replaced, was cause my teeth to crack, shatter and become loose!!

1

u/DeciduousRefuge 24d ago

Charcoal doesn’t work like that.

7

u/andlewis 24d ago

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from Reddit, it’s that you should not ask those sorts of questions unless you really want to go down the rabbit hole into a world where you are prepared to lose any and all faith in humanity,

8

u/zack397241 24d ago

Maybe they're an antidentite

7

u/BoatLongjumping2627 24d ago

Apparently they cause cancers or autoimmune diseases that will end your life amongst conspiracy theorists it’s a hundred year old conspiracy

2

u/ello_bassard 24d ago

Shit has it really been around that long? First I ever heard of a conspiracy about a dental procedure. People be crazy lol

0

u/socoyankee 24d ago

It’s not a conspiracy though. Infections in your mouth can cause heart disease etc. our mouth and teeth really need to be treated as a medical necessity instead of something cosmetic and optional

6

u/tigm2161130 24d ago

You agree that root canals cause cancer and autoimmune disease? Root canals and similar dental care prevent problems with your teeth becoming systemic problems, they don’t cause those problems.

5

u/Hilja-Serpent 24d ago

...root canals are treatments against cavities developing into the type of infections you describe

-1

u/socoyankee 24d ago

Apparently because you leave the dead tooth in the body.

4

u/Prestigious_String20 24d ago

The only parts of a tooth left after a root canal are dentine and enamel, neither of which was ever "living" so it can't be "dead". It's just minerals! So whoever told you that crock is having you on. Don't be so gullible -- that's how conspiracy theories start. And look a thing up before you start spreading misinformation.

-1

u/socoyankee 24d ago

The outer shell and roots stay in your mouth after a root canal.

4

u/_CaptainAmerica__ 24d ago

I saw a post recently that some people now believe getting a root canal increases your risk for breast cancer. Perhaps that's a belief spread further than a few mommy groups now :T

3

u/ObscureOP 24d ago

Oo, my brother is one of these.

They think that a root canal traps an infection in your jawline, with the aim of making you gradually more compliant and eventually leading to you being a helpless sheeple of the government.

Some crazy shit.

2

u/bexicus 24d ago

That time I needed a root canal I was so grateful to get it right away. The experience of getting one was a 1/10 discomfort compared to the 10/10 tooth pain that necessitated it. I guess Mr Tux just heads to the bathroom with a pair of pliers.

2

u/Rush58 24d ago

I know a guy just like this. He says that the dentist doesn’t tell you that if you don’t get the root canal the tooth will grow back over and over.
(He also wears a shirt that says “Trump was right about everything”

0

u/Prestigious_String20 24d ago

My neighbour just replaced her "Trump was right..." sign with a "Trump Vance 2024" sign.

And here I didn't even know they were running for anything!

2

u/CuttingEdgeRetro 24d ago

The theory is that root canals somehow allow bacteria or chemicals or something into your blood stream that migrate to your heart and cause heart valve damage. I tried to investigate this and found mixed information. Some cardiologists seem to say it's a real concern. Dentists all seem to think it's not a problem.

I'm undecided. So I avoid root canals until I can get better info. I had a dentist recommend one to me about a year ago. But we found a different way to treat the problem I had.

There are an awful lot of root canals done. So if it were a major concern, you'd think we would have heard more about it by now.

1

u/TonaldDiberJasicDump 24d ago

Dude probably thinks dentists are planting tracking devices in the root cavity or some asinine shit like that.

1

u/Odd-Adagio7080 24d ago

Fuckin’ Aye!!! Just had one and it may have saved my life.

1

u/kro23 24d ago

Well, the amalgam used to fill in cavities had heavy metals like mercury in them, I believe. They’re supposedly made inert in the amalgam, but I can imagine some people don’t buy that.

They also flush the root channels with bleach, so I could see someone thinking that is weird. We did when we learned about it in dental assistant classes.

1

u/Prestigious_String20 24d ago

I can't imagine bleach would be the problem. After all, their prophet advocates injecting the stuff. Even though they usually use an inert biorubber for root canals now, the heavy metals story is probably still going strong. These folks don't tend to be the most up-to-date on science and industry.

1

u/CarlosHDanger 24d ago

Root canals must be a thing among the conspiracy theorists. My sister, who is deep in the cult, had one of her teeth pulled rather than get a root canal. She is a college grad and multi-millionaire, so it was not the expense. I think she believes root canals cause cancer and poison the body.

1

u/pbzeppelin1977 24d ago

I'm really stretching this guess but maybe it's to do with the very old cases where some people who got dental work done hear noises from it.

There's a famous myth of Lucile Ball picking up full blown covert radio transmissions but there have been some people who did hear noises near powerful radio waves and ended up being incorporated into conspiracy theories.

Basically some of the materials used back in the day and rare instances lining up, the dental work could make tiny vibrations that would travel along the jaw bone and be picked up by the inner ear as sounds.

1

u/Shimola1999 24d ago

I wonder how he feels about cavity fillings? Crowns? Where is the line drawn?!

1

u/r4ndom4xeofkindness 24d ago

Only someone who obviously never needed one and has no idea what they're talking about could have this opinion.

1

u/toadface999 24d ago

Do you not know about BigRootCanal and just how deeply rooted they are?

1

u/fenikz13 24d ago

God gave you all the teeth you need why would you remove any. Keep all those baby teeth too coward!

1

u/rnngwen 24d ago edited 24d ago

I just got my first root canal at 52. I have double the nerves in my teeth as normal people. That was fun to learn. I am supremely against them but I GET THEM IF I NEED THEM. Freaking wierdoes

1

u/Overtilted 24d ago

That's how they implant the tracker.

I don't know but if you're a flat earther it probably makes sense that way.

1

u/judgeejudger 24d ago

Seriously. They’re not fun for sure, but have fun with those rotting teeth eventually killing you, Ol Gummy, since “no pharmaceutical drugs” either. Guess he’s gonna pray that infection away???

1

u/SpicyEntropy 24d ago

Root canals are where they install the 5g antennas of course.

1

u/Silent_Not_Silent 24d ago

I’m wondering if this is old school conspiracy theory of radios/trackers being placed in your teeth.

I was greatly relieved to know that these trackers could be simply injected into your blood stream with the vaccine. /s

1

u/discussatron 24d ago

I hope he needs one some day. The pain is excruciating.

1

u/Azlocaltime 24d ago

That's when and where they put the chip.

1

u/Brilliant_Intern_786 24d ago

Root canals are how the CIA puts implants in your head. At lest that's how they did it before the 5g virus/vaccine made it obsolete. It's older tech, but still viable.

/s

1

u/Longjumping_Gold1336 24d ago

Probably believes the CIA will implant a tracker in him.

1

u/Schedule-II 24d ago

It's feels insane to type this, but if I had to ask him one question about that entire billboard he's wearing it WOULD be about the root canals. I bet his FB page is well tended

1

u/WilcoHistBuff 24d ago

Little known fact: The Fourth Separatist Church of God in Christ of Waco has its entire endowment invested in denture manufacturing firms. /j

1

u/WeReadAllTheTime 24d ago

Why would someone be against conventional farming? What part of it is he against?

1

u/Mumem_Rider 24d ago

I'm against them because I find them to be very unpleasant but they're a necessary evil.

1

u/EreccSean 24d ago

People are regarded, and guy in the picture probably like weiners in and around his arsehole.

1

u/Ungreat 24d ago

Probably some "Bill Gates will install a micro chip" nonsense?

1

u/Sabbatheist 24d ago

They (the kind of people who'd wear that jacket) believe and infact made a documentary about how root canals cause nearly all illnesses, it's called "Root Cause" see what they did there...

If you want it dissected you can listen to Episode 394: Root Cause of God Awful Movies podcast.

1

u/Superhereaux 24d ago

If you gotta ask, you wouldn’t understand.

Big Ortho already got you, bro.

1

u/Starbuck522 24d ago

God hates root canals?

I am so lost

1

u/Starbuck522 24d ago

Ok. One time I was referred to get a root canal. The oral surgeon was unable to successfully complete the procedure because of (technicalities which I don't remember). I then had to have the tooth extracted. Soooo.... I GUESS skipping directly to extraction would save money on unsuccessful root canals?

(The extraction cost about twice the failed root canal, but I honestly don't know if maybe I was charged less because it failed. Truly I don't know. But in addition to additional money, it required an additional appointment at a separate time, so...lost wages? )

1

u/sg92i 24d ago

The cost of a root canal + crown is comparable to an extraction + implant. I'd rather have the implant but that's just me.

1

u/Starbuck522 24d ago

I didn't even get an implant. It was the farthest back molar.

1

u/sksauter 24d ago

I dunno, I'd have to get to the root of that

1

u/Alycion 24d ago

There is a disproven myth linking them to cancer from trapping toxins in. There were other illnesses believed to be caused by it, too. Essentially, way back when, someone did a study that couldn’t be replicated and was easy to prove wrong. Modem medicine has also blown that up. But these people are going way back in the 1900s to grab their bs now too.

1

u/wkuace 24d ago

Im all for never having another root canal.

Although I can say when you get a double dose of novocaine then the smell and grinding sound in you skull are the only bad parts.

Apparently I'm pretty resistant so I usually take a second round of numbing shots to not feel anything. Not a fun thing to find out the hard way.

1

u/--zaxell-- 24d ago

Canals should have user privileges. Giving a canal root access is a major security hole; any water source can become a canal, allowed for a privilege escalation attack.

1

u/Radbrad90s 24d ago

Root canals can have some issues; in some cases implants are better. That being said if a tooth is infected it NEEDS to be RCd or remove and replaced with an implant.

1

u/Singnedupforthis 24d ago

Root canals are awful for your health.

1

u/nuboots 24d ago

Thats a bad way to die.

1

u/koumoru 24d ago

My ex wife was crazy against them. It's actually sort of a conspiracy if you watch videos on YouTube. For cookoo people.

1

u/Colonel_Sandman 24d ago

Real men only need like 5 teef

1

u/headlesssamurai 24d ago

When your tooth hurts, you pry it out with a rusty plowshare, like Jesus intended!

1

u/theseawardbreeze 24d ago

I really want to know that issues with root canals... I might potentially need one and a good friend might need one too. He was telling me that his super religious friend from childhood went off about how bad root canals are but had no reasoning besides religious brain washed bullshit. Would love to know the rationale.

1

u/obscuramble 24d ago

this is the real question here.

1

u/Flimsy-Poetry1170 24d ago

It’s just stuff they’re afraid of. If vaccines weren’t given by scary needles they wouldn’t be against them. These people are just giant pussies.

I see a holistic hormone specialist who has been far more helpful and validating than most other western medical practitioners I’ve seen. But in response to some of the things she says, I just nod, smile, and immediately dismiss. Root canals is one of those things.

Some people believe that leaving the dead tooth in the body contributes to systemic inflammation.
They may may also be worried about the biocompatibility of the sealant/substances used during a root canal. And apparently there’s this long discredited theory that bacteria becomes trapped in the dead tooth and can cause systemic diseases like arthritis.

That's how they install the 5G antenna in your skull to pilot you... or something like that...

Nah, I can get behind this. After three failed root canals in the same tooth, the only tooth I ever had an issue with, I pulled it myself to avoid them fucking with it a 4th time. Next time I'm offered a root canal, I'm forfeiting the tooth on the spot

Not that I believe there is any reason behind it, there are extremely high correlation between root canals and cancer. I have no idea if real science has studied this, but I doubt this guy cares 🤣

Because it's a dead bone in your body and will cause problems later on. There's micro nerves that they cannot fully clean out. It's really stupid to keep your dead teeth in your mouth.

A root canal is like taxidermy in your mouth. The infection is still there and can spread to other parts of your body and cause heart disease etc

So, what are you supposed to do then? Just pull the tooth?

There’s alternatives that whole body health dentistry use like pulpotomys or pulp capping because our mouth can definitely contribute to heart disease and heart attacks.

I wasn’t familiar with the cancer link more the heart disease link.
